About regulatory and traffic signage
Two different things live in this catalog and it is worth being clear about which is which. The Property & Wayfinding signs — parking, private drive, campus and novelty street-name signs — are made for private property. They are not traffic control devices and are not sold as MUTCD or DOT compliant.
The Traffic & Roadway (Official) signs are the real thing: manufactured to MUTCD and Standard Highway Signs specifications on ASTM D4956 retroreflective sheeting, in the published sizes, with the FHWA legend fonts. Sold for authorized use — buyers are responsible for their jurisdiction’s requirements, and we help you get it right. Tell us the code, the size and the sheeting grade and you get a specified quote rather than a guess.
